Scope: This notice applies to Create2Discover’s Student Hub V1 learning-record system. The first V1 pilot is administrator-only and uses a deliberately narrow data flow.

2. Who this notice covers
Create2Discover serves children, including children under age 13. Student Hub V1 is an administrator-only teacher and operations system. Children do not create Student Hub accounts, public profiles, chats, or community posts in V1, and the current first-pilot migration does not collect Student Hub information online directly from children. Student Hub information is entered by Create2Discover or migrated in a bounded way from existing Create2Discover operational records that were supplied by a parent or guardian or created by Create2Discover for an existing class relationship.
3. Information Student Hub V1 may maintain
V1 may maintain the child’s preferred or display name; parent or guardian name and email needed for communication and record linkage; current Create2Discover program or enrollment and status; useful enrollment dates; session dates, attendance, and scheduling linkage; lesson and topic identifiers; technical skills covered; teacher-entered instructional information such as what was practiced, challenge and next-step notes, support or independence observations, and a parent-facing progress update; and limited internal or source identifiers used to keep records matched correctly.
V1 is not intended to collect or maintain, by default, a child’s precise date of birth; street or home address; personal child email address or phone number; payment-card or bank credentials; passwords or authentication secrets; unrelated medical, demographic, or other sensitive profile information; government-identification images; raw verification artifacts; or raw AI chat transcripts.
4. How V1 obtains information
Information may come from a parent or guardian, from Create2Discover’s teacher or administrator in the course of providing classes, or from a bounded migration of those existing Create2Discover operational records. For the first pilot, the parent or guardian originally communicated with Create2Discover, and Create2Discover entered the necessary information into TutorBird; there was no direct online collection of this migration data from the student. Shawn has approved TutorBird as the source for a very small group of currently active direct Create2Discover tutoring students. The approved import is limited to the minimum fields needed for current operations: student preferred or display name; guardian display name and email when needed; current program or enrollment identity and status; useful enrollment dates; TutorBird opaque source identifiers; and current or upcoming scheduling linkage when needed.
The first pilot does not include the historical customer base, Outschool marketplace learners, inactive families, precise dates of birth, street addresses, child personal email or phone, payment credentials, passwords, unrelated sensitive profile fields, raw provider payloads, or bulk historical lesson-note archives.
5. How Create2Discover uses Student Hub information
Create2Discover uses Student Hub information to provide and improve instruction; maintain attendance and useful learning continuity; track lessons and technical skills covered; support scheduling and operational continuity; prepare parent progress communication; protect and maintain the service; handle parent review, deletion, and consent-revocation requests; and apply approved retention, deletion, or anonymization rules. Student Hub information is not used for targeted advertising or remarketing.
6. Service providers and disclosures in the narrow V1 scope
Create2Discover’s PageMotor Student Hub application and relational database are hosted in Create2Discover’s Namecheap VPS environment. Protected disaster-recovery backups are transferred to Create2Discover’s Google Workspace and Google Drive environment. Google Workspace and Gmail may also be used for ordinary parent privacy, consent, and communication workflows. TutorBird is a temporary transition and source system for the bounded first pilot; only the minimum specifically approved fields are intended to enter Student Hub.
V1 does not send identifiable Student Hub child learning or profile records to Mailchimp or ChatGPT as part of the normal Student Hub workflow, and V1 does not disclose Student Hub child data to advertising or remarketing services. Outschool is a separate marketplace platform with its own privacy responsibilities and is not used as the backend processor for Student Hub. Any future calendar, payment, video, analytics, AI, parent-portal, or other integration that would receive child information must be separately reviewed before activation.
7. Cookies, analytics, and persistent identifiers
The protected PageMotor Student Hub surface has been validated for the narrow V1 launch with no configured Google Analytics Measurement ID and no detected external tracker or asset hosts in the anonymous shell scan. V1 Student Hub pages are intended to remain free of advertising, remarketing, social-media pixels, and unnecessary analytics or tracking.
Create2Discover’s existing WordPress marketing website has a separate legacy cookie and marketing configuration. It is not approved as the first-pilot Student Hub child-data collection surface. The first-pilot migration uses only existing operational records that came from the parent or guardian or were created by Create2Discover for the existing class relationship.
8. Retention and deletion
Identifiable Student Hub information is kept while the student is active and for up to 24 months after the later of the student’s last class actually held or final enrollment end date. After that period, identifying Student Hub information is deleted or anonymized according to the approved retention workflow. Genuinely non-identifying curriculum or learning evidence may be retained for program improvement when it can no longer reasonably be linked to a student. A verified parent or guardian deletion request may be handled earlier where applicable.
Disaster-recovery backups follow a short rotating retention schedule. Information deleted or anonymized in the active system may remain temporarily in a protected backup until that backup ages out. Backups are used for disaster recovery, not ordinary access. If a backup is restored, current deletion, anonymization, and consent-revocation states must be reconciled before normal operation resumes.
9. Parent and guardian rights
After Create2Discover verifies the requester and the parent or guardian relationship, a parent may request access to or review of the child’s Student Hub information, request deletion where applicable, revoke consent where consent applies to a future collection or use, or ask Create2Discover to stop further collection or use as required. Create2Discover records only the minimum verification method, result, timestamp, request or outcome state, and necessary internal IDs rather than storing identity-document images or other unnecessary verification artifacts.
10. Consent and future direct child collection
For the current first-pilot migration, Create2Discover is moving existing operational records that were supplied by a parent or guardian or created by Create2Discover for an existing class relationship. The migration does not include information collected online directly from the child. Create2Discover therefore does not require a new per-family consent step solely to move these existing records from TutorBird into the private Student Hub for the same approved teaching, scheduling, recordkeeping, parent-communication, and reconciliation purposes.
If a future Student Hub feature collects personal information online directly from a child, or Create2Discover materially changes covered collection, use, or disclosure practices, Create2Discover will perform a new privacy review and provide notice and obtain verifiable parental consent when required. The existing direct-notice and parent-verification controls remain available for circumstances where a consent flow is applicable.
11. Changes to practices
Before materially expanding the categories of child information collected, the purposes of use, public-disclosure features, non-integral third-party disclosures, or other practices covered by prior consent, Create2Discover will update the notice and obtain new parental consent when required. New integrations must pass Create2Discover’s processor, security, persistent-identifier, and child-privacy review before they receive child information.
